As just announced by the prestigious Michelin team of culinary connoisseurs, two more restaurants have been granted Michelin stars in Budapest, while five other dining destinations have retained theirs. The Essência Restaurant and SALT Budapest join Babel Budapest, Borkonyha, Costes, Costes Downtown and Stand to make a full complement of seven in the Hungarian capital brandishing the highest award in international gastronomy.
Set on the ground floor of the downtown Hotel Rum, Scandinavian-style fine-dining spot SALT Budapest fashions its cuisine on the traditional flavours from the region of Szatmár.
The Essência Restaurant – Tiago & Éva showcases both Portuguese and Hungarian cuisine, combining maritime dishes with spicy Magyar.
