10am - : Budapest Chili Weekend at Millenáris Park
For this one weekend, Hungary’s chili producers move to Millenáris Park with food trucks and spicy specialities for sale. Trinidad scorpion moruga, ghost peppers and California reapers are all on the menu from Friday to Sunday. To ease the burn with freshly drawn ales, 15 craft breweries also await.
Noon - : Huawei Mobile Photo Exhibition at Akvárium Klub
Central Akvárium Klub hosts a unique exhibition comprised of photos taken on Huawei smartphones. The pictures on display are all award-winning entries from the Next Image competition organised by the Chinese telecom giant and National Geographic. The most compelling entry and the overall winner of the competition is Art&Leukemia, by amateur Hungarian photographer Réka Pávó. The show runs until October 1st.
Noon - : Vegan Food Fest at WestEnd Roof Terrace
Between Friday and Sunday, renowned restaurants and friendly vendors set up stalls on the roof terrace of the WestEnd Shopping Centre to offer tasty treats free of animal products.
8pm - : Live music at Baalbek Lebanese Restaurant
Middle Eastern vibes, meals and authentic live music fill Baalbek restaurant this Friday evening. Offering the finest Levantine cuisine, Baalbek prepares all dishes halal, placing emphasis on traditional recipes and on fresh and premium ingredients. Culinary specialities include harira, kunafa and um Ali.
10:30pm - : Stay Hydrated w/ Tolo b2b TMX at A38
On Friday night, A38 hosts its last open-air party at the roof terrace. Two dominant figures of the Hungarian electronic music scene, Tolo and TMX, will play in a special b2b set up.
Saturday

8am – 2pm: Czakó Piacz at Czakó Kert
Czakó Piac is a farmers’ market full of friendly vendors, awaiting visitors in the lovely garden of an old Hungarian peasant house on the Buda side. Stalls offer organic products, vegetables, eggs, mouthwatering meats, handcrafted cheeses, wild mushrooms and countless unique specialities that are not available elsewhere in the capital. The chef at Czakó Kert prepares the best breakfasts and lunchesfrom the delicacies available here while the market is open.
10am - 8pm: Kazinczy Promenade on Kazinczy utca
On Saturday, Budapest’s chaotic Kazinczy utca hosts a colourful car-free carnival. Almost all the street's restaurants, cafés, bars and clubs join forces to host events for adults and kids alike. Bicycles and four-legged friends are welcome, but nothing with four wheels, please!
11am - 7pm: Szimplant at Szimpla Kert
Szimplant is a day for all those with green fingers. The event features a quiz, plant adoption, exhibitions, talks, performances and great music.
2pm - 10pm: Cruisin Season Closing at Cruisin
Cruisin’s party ship sets sail for the last time this year on Saturday. Besides the residents of the party series, Yvel & Tristan, James Grow and Marco Grandi, a new face joins the DJ team: Peter Makto, manager of record label Truesounds.
3pm - Rollerbike Budapest at Heroes' Square
From 3pm on Saturday, people on rollers, long boards, skates and bikes will gather at Heroes' Square to then take the city and head to the Margaret Island together in one big crowd. The aim of the event is to draw attention to a more environment-friendly lifestyle.
Sunday

12:15pm: Call Me By Your Name at the Uránia National Film Theater
This Oscar-winning coming-of-age drama is a sensual and transcendent tale of first love, based on the acclaimed novel by André Aciman. The cinema is special too, all Moorish design, and screens the film with original English audio and Hungarian subtitles.
5pm - 7pm: Charade at the Bem Cinema
What would be any better on Sunday afternoon than watching wonderful Audrey Hepburn in this classic goofball spy comedy on the big screen. The Bem Cinema by Margaret Bridge screens Charade with original English audio and Hungarian subtitles.
8pm - : Maarja Nuut at Müpa
Estonian violinist-singer Maarja Nuut has won over fans of contemporary world music at a single stroke. And though her albums (Soolo,Une meeles) have earned her rave reviews, it is in concert that Nuut has really left audiences spellbound, from western Europe to the United States. The audience can expect an unusually moving concert that defies all attempts at categorisation.
8pm - : Polish Jazz 1918 - 2018 |Młynarski-Masecki Jazz band at the Budapest Music Center
The Młynarski & Masecki Jazz Band were founded by one of the most outstanding Polish pianists, Marcin Masecki and singer, percussionist and member of the Warsaw Combo Taneczne, Jan Emil Młynarski. The band draws its inspiration from the traditions of Polish jazz orchestras from the interwar period. Their free jazz interpretations give this music an absolutely fresh flavour, inviting everyone to dance and feel the thrills.
