A city made for wandering
Spring in Budapest is the perfect time to explore the Buda side on foot. Everything is within easy reach, from the Danube promenade to the Castle District, making it easy to spend a full day just walking and discovering the area.
From Clark Ádám tér, everything connects naturally. Within a short walk, you reach the Funicular (Budavári Sikló), which takes you up to the Castle District, or you can continue on foot towards the Várkert Bazár for a slower riverside detour. A bit further up, the Hungarian National Gallery offers both exhibitions and some of the best views over the city. It's a part of Budapest where you don't need to rush - everything is close enough to explore at your own pace.
Starting from the right place
Set right at Clark Ádám tér, Hotel Clark Budapest places you exactly where you need to be to experience all of this on foot. The Chain Bridge is right outside, the Castle District is just above, and the river is always within view.
For something more special, the Seventh Heaven Studios, located on the seventh-floor of the hotel are worth highlighting. With spacious private terraces, freestanding bathtubs, and open views across the city, they're made for slower moments - whether it's breakfast outside in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, with Budapest spread out in front of you.
Where culture becomes part of the stay
At Hotel Clark, culture isn't something you have to go looking for. Through the Art Corner initiative, created together with Leo Bistro, the hotel regularly hosts exhibitions by Hungarian contemporary artists. These aren't separated into a traditional gallery space, but instead become part of the hotel itself.
The current exhibition, on view until 31 July, Art is Therapy by Judit Horváth Lóczi, explores the emotional side of artistic creation. It's a subtle addition, but one that brings a different kind of experience into the stay, reflecting Budapest's creative scene in a more personal way.
Evenings above the city
One of the highlights of staying here is the Leo Rooftop Bar. Known as one of the city's standout rooftop spots, it combines panoramic views with an amazing cocktail menu and an atmosphere that shifts naturally from relaxed afternoons to busier evenings.
A seasonal offer to make the most of it
To make the most of the season, Hotel Clark Budapest offers its Budapest in Bloompackage, available between 1 March and 31 May. With a minimum two-night stay, it includes a bottle of chilled sparkling wine from Etyeki Kúria on arrival, along with complimentary entry to Fisherman's Bastion. It's a simple addition, but one that fits the pace of spring perfectly.
