An unusually heavy snowfall has arrived in the capital, and anyone who can is heading outdoors – for walks, sledding and snowball fights. In some places, sledges are said to be in short supply, but those who managed to get hold of one – or dig it out from the cellar or attic – have taken over the city’s sledding spots. Our photographer, Gábor Szabó, captured the carefree joy of children and adults alike enjoying the snow in Újpest.
