This is pretty much all you need for a fun night out, and Morrison’s 2 in downtown Budapest has it all – even if you’re looking to let loose during the week.
Located on Budapest's Grand Boulevard near Jászai Mari tér and the Nyugati Railway Station – a few steps away from the frequent 4-6 tram – Morrison's 2 is a great old party place in Budapest, attracting huge crowds between Monday and Saturday. It is open between 6 pm and 5 am every day, entry is free before 9 pm, and the parties usually kick off as early as 8 pm.
Morrison'a occupies a classic old Budapest apartment building, so wandering around its various rooms, going up and down the stairs and out on the balcony or hanging out in the spacious inner courtyard – which is covered and heated in winter – is an exciting and special experience in itself.
Thanks to the labyrinthine spaces and friendly faces, a night at Morrison's kinda feels like a gigantic house party.

A good vantage point at Morrison's is the spacious inner courtyard with the gigantic and colourful neon 'Morrison's' sign and huge LED screen broadcasting major sports events. It is a great place for a few drinks and more intimate chatting.
There are altogether seven dancefloors in various directions, offering everything from pop to R&B to hip-hop, house and Latin music, so everyone surely finds a party to their liking where they can dance until dawn.
If the fine tunes inspire you to show off your talent, you can do so in the separate karaoke room. Thematic parties often take place as well, whether it's a special Halloween, Santa Claus or New Year's Eve gig. And if it's not necessarily throwing shapes you're after, you can play pool, or foosball, watch the game or catch up with people over a few drinks.
Bottomless drinks packages
Speaking of drinks, Morrison's 2 offers amazing, almost unbelievable discounts on drinks and bottomless drinks packages that are pretty hard to resist. There are too many to even list here, but one of the most important offers is a pint for only 250 HUF (less than 1 euro) between 21:00 and 23:00 every Monday. The unlimited drinks packages are available every day and they give you free entry. You can choose between a standard and premium drink list, and then knock back glasses until 3 am.
There are different prices for different time slots, but the cheapest is between 6 pm and 9 am on Thursday when you can get yourself an unlimited drinks deal for as cheap as 2990 HUF (7.8 euro), as well as free entry. Cool, right?
Opting for the drinks packages is of course optional, but if you're planning on having a few drinks here, they're definitely worth it. Both the standard and the premium drinks lists are available to browse online and at Morrison's too, so you can double-check that they really do include quality drinks.
Cocktail o’ clock
And this is not everything when it comes to Morrison's drinks specials, as their newest offer is giving out cocktails from their discounted cocktails list for only 990 HUF (approximately 2.6 euros) from 6 pm to 9 pm every day.
This means that until you hear the bell at 9 pm, which signals the end of the offer, you can order Cuba Libres, Pink gin-tonics, Piña Coladas, Sex on the Beaches, Tequila Sunrises or B52s to your heart's desire for only 990 HUF.
Entry to Morrison's is only for the above 18s with a valid ID, and table reservation is free every day – and highly recommended towards the weekend, when Morrison's fills to the brim with the biggest partygoing crowd in town. Oh, and if you want to sound like a local, just call it 'Mori' (maw-ree).
