If you would like to just nibble on something together or sample a smoke-grilled
dish, then the appetisers, the cheese platter with dried figs and fresh
vegetables, the antipasti selection or the three-dip cheese, tuna and
aubergine option provide the ideal opportunity.
Among the soups, the cooling
mango cream shouldn’t be missed on a hot summer’s day but if, like us,
you’re a fan of garlic cream soup, you’re in the right place, because at
Aligátor, they go big on camembert.
As for the main dishes, you’re surrounded by a real barbecue party atmosphere. You can order wild boar ribs with a selection of smoked fried potatoes, salmon fillet with crispy grilled vegetables or charcoal-grilled chicken breast with Parmesan mashed potatoes. And if you're actually hankering after alligator, here you can also try the crocodile steak with grilled potatoes and the magical Dutch Planet sauce.
The Alligator burger range is also very strong. There is, for example, in the Korean BBQ Burger, the kimchi-chili slaw cream provides an Asian base, for the BeerBQ Burger, the home-made beer BBQ sauce stands out, while the Stinky Pete Burger showcases gorgonzola-mushroom ragout. With the Cheeseburger Extra, fans of classic flavours get a little bonus.
Of course, Aligátor also thought of children, who can
ask for Kroki, Nemo or the real pirate Bad Boys favourite from the menu. And if
