FLANGER KIDS BIRTHDAY CONCERT AT TURBINA
Electronic duo Flanger Kids, made up of Fanny Gyarmati and Panka Szczuka, celebrate their 5th birthday with a special live show at the Turbina Cultural Centre on 3 October. Over the past five years, the band has built a distinct soundscape mixing head-nodding beats, ethereal vocals, dreamy guitar textures, and wild synths.
OCTOBERFEST BUDAPEST
Enjoy Bavarian vibes at Oktoberfest Budapest, returning to Margaret Island's Gastro Promenade from 3 to 5 October. Festival beers, pretzels, sausages, and plenty of live music set the scene, with performances ranging from brass bands to rock and roll. Alongside the food and drink, visitors can join in traditional folk games and soak up the lively Oktoberfest spirit right in the heart of the city.

VALYO BIRTHDAY WEEKEND AT HENGERMALOM
On 4–5 October, Valyo marks its 15th anniversary with a festive birthday weekend at Hengermalom. The two-day celebration will be filled with creative workshops – from painting Danube pebbles to zine-making and screen printing – alongside a retrospective exhibition, quizzes, games, and even a cargo bike showcase.

FLEA MARKET AND VINYL FAIR
On 4 October , the Marczibányi Square Cultural Centre hosts a vibrant fair where new and vintage vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, instruments, players, speakers, amplifiers, as well as music-related books, posters and T-shirts will all be up for grabs. But it’s not only about music — treasure hunters and collectors can also browse a classic flea market with all sorts of curiosities and second-hand finds waiting for a new home.

COFFEE DAY AT MILLENÁRIS
On 4 October, Hungary's Coffee Day returns for its 13th edition, this time filling the glass pavilion at Millenáris. From 10 am to 6 pm, visitors can enjoy unlimited tastings of coffees, teas, cocktails, and long drinks, all included in the ticket price. Alongside the flavours, the programme features the 10th Hungarian Amateur Barista Championship, the Roastino Sample Roaster competition, the Bányai Cup of Excellence cupping, and many more events.

On 5 October, Makers' Market returns to Fény Street Market, bringing together over 80 brilliant local makers — all ready to showcase their beautiful, handcrafted creations. Expect a treasure trove of design finds: think contemporary jewellery, textiles, ceramics, homewares, prints, and much more.
RETRO DAY AT MEMENTO PARK
On 5 October, Memento Park brings the spirit of the past to life with a full day of retro-themed programmes. Visitors can browse treasures at a market, join fun competitions for kids, and explore the world of iconic Trabant and Wartburg cars. Music lovers can enjoy nostalgic tunes on vinyl, while evening screenings and performances transport audiences back to the 1960s, 70s, and 80s.

Take this weekend to explore the newly opened Time Out Market Budapest, where the city’s top chefs and eateries are gathered under one roof.
