The Fény Street Market (Fény utcai piac) is the most popular market of the Buda side of town, which is partly owing to the fact that it is in the immediate vicinity of Széll Kálmán tér. The secret? In Budapest, it has probably the largest selection of organic and protected origin goods. This is not only fashionable, but also creates standards to follow. Perhaps it is not the cheapest market in town, but the prices are still reasonable for pensioners to shop here, which is reassuring.
