Hungarian artists on stage, from Neoton to Beton.Hofi
Even from the title, it's clear that Budapest Park'sprogramme concept for 2026 is built on variety. The line-up stretches from mainstream pop to underground sounds, from rock to disco, covering a wide spectrum. It also caters to different generations: alongside one of today's biggest favourites, Beton.Hofi, you'll also find long-standing acts like Neoton Família. In that sense, Budapest Park is a place that tries to offer something for everyone. And it goes beyond concerts - the programme also includes party nights and themed festivals, from club-style evenings to events like dance house festivals.

While several international acts are set to perform at Budapest Park this season - its fifteenth so far - the venue still largely belongs to Hungarian artists. Most nights are built around local bands, many of whom make it a point to return each year, sometimes even for multiple shows. Looking through the line-up, you'll spot plenty of familiar names, including Carson Coma, Elefánt, Honeybeast, Irie Maffia, Vad Fruttik, and Blahalouisiana, all of whom are regulars on the Park's stage.
It's not just returning bands, but recurring programmes as well. One example is the collaboration between Katona József Színház and Budapest Park, the Csinibaba Táncdalfesztivál, which this year brings back hits from the years around the regime change, performed by the theatre's actors alongside guest singers. The Vígszínház also returns each season, with its in-house band, Grund - A vígszínházi fiúzenekar, featuring performers including Márk Ember and Béla Fesztbaum, bringing a slightly different kind of stage presence to the Park.

Hungarian bands often choose Budapest Park for their anniversary concerts, and this year is no exception. Platon Karataev and Follow The Flow both celebrate their 10th anniversaries, while Fran Palermo marks 15 years, and L.L. Junior celebrates three decades on stage. The biggest celebration, however, will likely be Ganxsta Zolee turning 60 - something that still feels a bit surreal to say. For the occasion, all seven of his bands are set to perform during the birthday show, including Kartel.

And the list of anniversaries - and Hungarian acts - doesn't end there. Punnany Massif revisits one of its defining albums, Körkorkép, which turns 20 this year, performing it live from start to finish at Budapest Park. Meanwhile, Heaven Street Seven, although no longer an active band, returns occasionally for special shows - and this year marks a good reason, as they celebrate roughly 30 years since forming.

June: from synth-pop mystique to French-tinged emotion
The first month of summer will likely mean spending quite a bit of time at Budapest Park, especially with the international line-up. Right at the start, the Australian synth-pop duo Empire of the Sun arrives with its signature visual-heavy, slightly mystical show, built around euphoric moments. Just over a week later, on 15 June, a very different kind of atmosphere takes over, as A Perfect Circle - fronted by Maynard James Keenan of Tool - brings its darker, more intense sound to Budapest for the band's first concert in the city.
Júniusban két, egymást követő estét is a Parkban töltünk. Előbb 22-én az izlandi indie folk Of Monsters and Men dalaira fogunk elalélni, másnap, 23-án pedig ugyanezt tesszük Mac DeMarco számaira is. Az áhítat és az elalélás egy héttel később folytatódik: 29-én ismét csak a Parkban ér minket az este, az ellenállhatatlan francia énekesnő, Zaz koncertjén.
July: the punks and a pop queen
On 8 July, IDLES brings its first headline Budapest show to Budapest Park, delivering the raw, loud energy the British post-punk scene is known for. It's one of those concerts that feels like a must for anyone into live music. The same goes for 20 July, when punk legends Sex Pistols take the stage, joined by Frank Carter, performing a set that defined a generation. And once that wave of punk energy settles, the mood shifts on 29 July, as Rita Ora arrives with a more pop-driven show, bringing a different kind of night to the Park.
August: a solo highlight
In the final month of summer, there's (for now) just one international act drawing us back to Budapest Park. On 1 August, Moby arrives from New York, bringing his electronic sound shaped by a long and varied career. He's performed in Budapest before, but it's been around 15 years, making this return feel long overdue. The concert is expected to focus on the key tracks from across his career, making it a strong pick for both longtime fans and newcomers.
