Chimney Cake Festival (Kürtös Kalács Fesztivál)
Chimney cake ('kürtőskalács' in Hungarian) is a local delicacy that everyone with a sweet tooth needs to try. It is a caramelised spit cake traditionally rolled in granulated sugar/cinnamon. The 12th Chimney Cake Festival returns to the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden from 10 to 12 October, celebrating Hungary's sweetest street food. Visitors can savour the classic crispy, spit-baked treats in flavours like cinnamon, walnut, vanilla, and coconut, as well as try inventive creations such as the Kürtős Bon and Kürtős Krémes.

Art Market Budapest
Art Market Budapest returns for its 15th edition between 16 - 19 October, bringing Central and Eastern Europe's biggest international art fair to the MTK Sportpark.
