If you are in Budapest between March 1st and 17th, don't miss out on this new attraction; an array of light installations illuminating the Budapest Zoo's majestic glass structure, the Biodome.

See the Biodome like never before – illuminated by hundreds of intelligent lamps, projectors, and high-performance slide projectors bringing installations to life. Behind the installations stand local and international light artists, who specifically crafted their creations for this space. Also, this is the first time guests can explore the whole of the glass structure at their own pace – leave at least 1.5 hours for the adventure.

Lightdome is open every day between 5 pm and 10 pm, and you can get tickets online or on the spot (until 9 pm). Ticket prices might be on the steep side with HUF 6,900 for adults, 3,500 for children (under 14 years) and HUF 5,500 for students and seniors – but if you like artsy and awe-inspiring experiences, it will be worth it.
