After successfully launching our Insider guide in 2016, We Love Budapest has just published the new edition of our English-language seasonal booklet, full of tips, leads and pointers to the city’s destinations and attractions for autumn and winter. Whether you are a first-time visitor in Budapest or live here and need a compass to navigate the city, the We Love Budapest Insider guide will be one of your most practical sources of information while enjoying the city.

A whole range of useful information helps you navigate Budapest easily, with handy guides presented across seven chapters, including Sightseeing, Dining, Culture, Wellness, Shopping, Nightlife and Practical information, covering every aspect of the Hungarian capital. In addition, a convenient city map points the way to the featured places included in the guide.

Most articles are in an easy-to-use list format with compact descriptions and contact information for each. Subjects are as diverse as the city itself, and include: 10 indoor destinations for rainy or snowy days, 3 eateries serving gourmet goulash soup, 10 free galleries for viewing modern Magyar art, 3 thermal baths with steamy outdoor pools open all year, 3 Christmas fairs held in landmark locations, and 10 clubs where good grooves make you move.

The Insider is complete with Explainer articles that provide background about topics related to life in Budapest, such as how to enjoy the city's thermal baths, and a short summary of Hungary’s fruit-based pálinka brandy. To find out more, a series of One-Question Interviews sheds light onto local trends and services, suggested and provided by people who live and work in the Hungarian capital, such as a savvy concierge, a renowned sommelier, a talented urban photographer and a dexterous Hungarian designer.
