Friday

10am - 6pm: Budapest Auto Show at Millenáris Park
Between Friday and Sunday, Budapest’s labyrinthine display space of the Millenáris Park fills with all kinds of cool cars for the Budapest Auto Show. Plenty of events and attractions await visitors, who can sit behind the wheel and take some of the vehicles for a test ride.
10am - 6pm: Paris-Budapest Exhibition Opening at the Virág Judit Gallery
After the highly successful “Berlin-Budapest” exhibition organized earlier this year – for which the gallery won the prestigious Opus Mirabile award – now another display, “Paris-Budapest”, is on view at the Virág Judit Gallery. It presents the artistic relationship between Paris and Budapest from the 1880s to the 1960s through paintings, statues and photographs – many of which have never been exhibited before. The event runs until November 26th.
10pm - 6am: Next Level Halloween Festival at Barba Negra Music Club
Next Level promises to hold the biggest and coolest Halloween party in the city on Friday, featuring a dozen performers, half of them international, half local. Head to Barba Negra for a fun-filled night out on Friday and see for yourself whether they live up to expectations.
11pm - 5am: Wannabe Halloween ’90s and ’00s at Akvárium Klub
The Backstreet Boys, Britney, Spice Girls, Madonna and all kinds of treasures from the ’90s trash bag fill Akvárium Klub on Friday, when a fun Halloween fiesta should drag all kinds of demons and divas of the night onto the dance floor.
11pm - 5am: Caliente - Reggaeton + Latinpop Night at Volt Lokál
Hot Latin sounds turn up the heat, make the heart warm and get the hips moving at VoltLokál on Friday: mamacitas, loca chicas, gasolinas, Despacito, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira and all kinds of cool Latino tunes shake up the hot atmosphere for Halloween.
Saturday

3pm - 10pm: I. Cheese Festival at the Hilton Budapest
On Saturday, Hilton Budapest awaits those with a gourmet heart for a special cheese festival, where altogether 365 types of cheese from all over the world tempt taste buds. The event is complete with all kinds of cheese-centric attractions and, to bring the combination of flavors to a perfect harmony, various kinds of delicious wines will be served.
4pm - 10pm: Pumpkin and Mulled Wine Festival at Ráday Street
The restaurants and cafés of venue-lined Ráday Street join forces once again for a fantastic street festival. Children are welcome to trick or treat on the street, while their parents can enjoy a free hot drink, mulled wine or coffee, in return for a Jack-o-lantern. Hopefully there will be enough lanterns to dress up the whole street in orange hues, making the atmosphere super special, so don’t forget to join. Special pumpkin dishes will be served at participating hangouts.
7pm - 9pm: Jack-o’-lantern Festival at Heroes’ Square
On Saturday evening, Heroes’ Square will sizzle brightly under the orange light of Jack-o’-lanterns. Everyone is welcome to bring a carved pumpkin with a candle inside, as well as a few cans of food that will be distributed by organizers to children in need.
7pm - 8:15pm: Recirquel Company Budapest: Non Solus at the Palace of Arts
Non Solus is a performance by contemporary circus troupe Recirquel, founded in 2012 on the 20th anniversary of the Sziget Festival, who break artistic barriers in bridging the gap between the genres of circus, physical theatre and dance. Here they tell the story of two humans finding each other, exploring the innermost depths of imagination, while creating an imaginary space spun from illusions.
8pm: Compagnie par Terre / Anne Nguyen (FR): Autarcie (....) at Trafó
Autarcie (….) is a game of strategy where four dancers engage in a frantic ritual for 50 minutes, alternating between forward-facing dance moves and free digression. They transform their respective dance specialties of break dance, popping and waacking into an abstract vocabulary, establishing their powerful identities onstage and thrusting themselves into the space in pursuit of territory, alliances and hierarchy.
Sunday

10am - 11:30am: Yoga Brunch at the Rudas Bath
Start your Sunday with invigorating exercise amid a soothing atmosphere and splendid panorama. Rudas Bath awaits everyone with a 60-minute yoga session and a hearty and healthy brunch as a reward afterwards.
11am - 5pm: Gardrób Community Market at Dürer Kert
We all have those items of clothing that are not the right fit any more, or that we just know we are never going to wear again, but they are just too nice to be thrown out. That is what this market is for. The idea is simple: you bring the clothes, bags, accessories and other knickknacks, and organizers guarantee the venue and the community.
6:30pm - 8:30pm: Interview with a Vampire at the Bem Cinema
On Sunday at the Bem Cinema a well-known drama horror classic sets the mood for Halloween. In Interview with a Vampire, Louis, a bicentennial blood-sucker (Brad Pitt) tells his shocking life story to an eager San Francisco reporter (Christian Slater).
8pm - 11pm: Jimi Hendrix 75 at MOM Sport
Jimi Hendrix would be 75 years old this year. Even though he was only in the public eye for four years, he is regarded as one of the most legendary rock guitarists of all time. To commemorate the 1960s’ icon, the Halper-Hendrix Experiment play Hendrix songs at MOM Sport, where renowned Hungarian musicians such as Béla Szakcsi Lakatos and Gyula Babos will also tread the boards.
