NIGHT OF THE ZOO 

On 29 August, the Night of the Zoo is back for its 14th edition. This year's theme is Urban Wilderness, showing how wild animals adapt to city life, what dangers a chance encounter can bring, and how we can live more peacefully side by side.

You can look forward to late-night adventures at several locations, including the Budakeszi Wildlife Park, the Pákozd Grove Wildlife Park and Arboretum, the Bear Sanctuary in Veresegyház, and the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden.

LA BOUM - CASTLE HOUSE PARTY

After a one-year break, La Boum – Kastélyházibuli is making its long-awaited return on 29 and 30 August, celebrating its fifth edition in truly enchanting surroundings. This year’s line-up features a vibrant mix of artists, including Co LeePerrinSamurai DriveSimon MártonFran PalermoWe Plants Are Happy Plants, and the LavaLava crew — all set to bring the castle to life with genre-crossing sounds and good vibes.

YOU! FEST 2025

On 29 and 30 August, Eötvös10 once again brings YOU!Fest, the festival of Terézváros, to life. Now in its fifth edition, the event will fill Andrássy Avenue with cultural and entertainment programmes. Visitors can enjoy dozens of theatre performances, join creative workshops, browse a craft fair, and explore a gastro quarter, while children are entertained with cheerful activities. On stage, acts include Kelemen Kabátban, Romano Drom, Rutkai Bori Banda, Szabó Balázs Bandája, and Galaxisok. Entry to the festival is free.

BARTÓK FESZT' 2025

The Bartók Quarter is a local community where knowledge, support, and tools are constantly shared and passed around. This spirit is at the heart of Bartók Feszt', taking place on 30 August across several venues – from Szent Gellért Square to the BME gardens. Visitors can look forward to concerts, a flea market, a designer fair, open studios, craft sessions, children's activities, and workshops for adults. HEALING DAY MINI FEST AT THE PRIVATE ROOFTOP

On 30 August, the Healing Day Mini Fest arrives with a summer-closing edition on one of Budapest's most beautiful rooftops, The Private Rooftop on Hermina út. The day begins with an energising morning flow led by yoga instructor Orsi Kolossváry (Yoga Brunch Hungary), followed by a mindfulness meditation guided by teacher Edit Szabó, Ditke. During the break, guests can take a dip in the rooftop pool or try face and body painting. The programme wraps up with Ecstatic Yoga & Dance to the beats of La Fuente's DJ sets. Participation requires prior registration and ticket purchase.

CALZONE-MAKING AT HENGERMALOM

On 30 August, you can dive into the art of calzone-making in the courtyard of Hengermalom, where sourdough and open fire take centre stage. During the programme, you'll learn the basics of sourdough, roll out your own calzone, fill it with tasty ingredients, and bake it on the spot. The secrets of the famous “folded pizza” will be shared by the Domovoj team. The event is donation-based.

SUHANJ! 6 – NIGHT CHARITY RUN 2025

Since 2010, SUHANJ! has been sharing the joy of movement with people living with disabilities. On 30 August, the foundation will once again host its Night Charity Run on Margaret Island – now for the 14th time. From midnight until 6 am, runners have six hours to cover as much distance as they can, either solo or in teams of 2–10, swapping as often as they like. The results of the charity run support the work of the SUHANJ! Foundation.

END OF SEASON PARTY AT FURMINT BAR

On Saturday, 30 August, the very last Saturday of the season, a lively party will take place with great music, drinks, and plenty of atmosphere. GENERALI NIGHT RUN BUDAPEST 2025

On Saturday, 30 August, the Generali Night Run returns for its 11th edition, inviting participants to race through the beautifully lit streets of the capital. The race centre will be located on the Műegyetem embankment, where all races will start and finish. Runners can choose from four different distances, and there's even the option to participate by bike. The scenic route includes iconic landmarks such as the Chain Bridge, the Tunnel, and Buda Castle, with breathtaking views of the Parliament glowing in the night. Along the way, music and visual effects will energise runners at several points.

BALKAN GRILL AT PALETTA IN BUDAPEST

Spend the last evening of summer recharging body and soul at the Philosophers' Garden. This special outdoor session combines a strengthening pilates flow with the soothing live sounds of the handpan, followed by relaxation as the sun sets over the city.
