Buena - Kitchen & Bar

Located in Agora Tower, Buena is a great choice for those who like to turn an everyday lunch into something a little more exciting. Its international fusion menu brings plenty of variety, with Mediterranean burrata, Asian-inspired duck soup, burgers and premium meat dishes all on offer. Prices are a little higher than at a traditional canteen, but the quality of the food and service, along with the stylish interior, make up for it.

Mad Dog Coffee_Hangár

In District XIII, Mad Dog Coffee_Hangár makes lunch away from the office a little more memorable with its bohemian, homely atmosphere – and even a helicopter hanging from the ceiling. The colourful, healthy and creative bowls served at lunchtime are vegan by default, but you can add chicken, salmon, tofu or feta for an extra HUF 800–950. A daily soup with a medium bowl costs HUF 3,500, while a full-size bowl is HUF 3,200.

Located in the Budapest One office park, Kantinetta focuses on health-conscious office dining in a modern space designed with a community feel. Located on the ground floor of the VOC office building in District II, Gastro Buda caters both to those craving hearty, home-style flavours and those looking for a lighter lunch. On weekdays, you can choose between two daily menus - one meat and one vegetarian - while the wider selection includes health-conscious and paleo dishes, fish, salads, vegetable stews, pasta and freshly cooked dishes. The restaurant is open from 11am to 3pm, and the daily menu costs HUF 2,600.

nor/ma Hall

Located in the lobby of the Telekom Headquarters, nor/ma Hall brightens up the working day with its Scandinavian-style bakery and specialty coffee, but it's also well worth a visit at lunchtime. The weekly selection features changing lunch boxes, with light yet filling dishes, creative salads and bowls, while the seasonal ‘dog' is another popular choice.

The Planteen

Located in Graphisoft Park, The Planteen makes plant-based dining both exciting and approachable. There's a changing daily menu featuring Hungarian and international dishes, alongside themed weekly specials, gluten-free options and plenty of seasonal ingredients. A two-course lunch costs HUF 3,990, while three courses are HUF 5,390. From Wednesday to Friday, you can also order the ever-popular Swedish-style ‘meatballs' for HUF 3,590.
