The Bartók Quarter is a local community where knowledge, support, and tools are constantly shared and passed around. This spirit is at the heart of Bartók Feszt’, taking place on 30 August across several venues – from Szent Gellért Square to the BME gardens. The aim of the festival is to highlight and promote a culture of sharing.
Visitors can look forward to concerts, a flea market, a designer fair, open studios, craft sessions, children’s activities, and workshops for adults. Performers include Kati Kovács, Bohemian Betyars, Bongor, Rutkai Bori Banda, and many more – along with a wide range of local associations and community initiatives. Entry is free.
