The last weekend of winter has arrived, and it’s going out in style. BËLGA ALBUM LAUNCH TOUR AT DÜRER KERT

The band will present the new record at Dürer Kerton 27 and 28 February, inviting anyone who's into gardening, has been pushed down a motorway, or has ever realised too late that they forgot to take the bins out.

 PALO CANTO ALBUM LAUNCH AT TURBINA

The multicultural organic electronica formation and producer duo Palo Canto will present their new album, Golden Runes, on 27 February at Turbina. During the concert, the energy of runes hidden deep in the desert will weave through the space, carried by hypnotic guitar riffs, shamanic chanting, and pulsating rhythms. Joining Palo Canto on stage will be Obadu, who blends Hungarian and Romanian folk motifs with electronic and Latin rhythms, as well as Szenka, whose unique organic downtempo sound combines handpan and guitar with electronic elements.

INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL

The Indian Film Festival returns to Budapest for the tenth time, organised by the Embassy of India. Between 27 February and 1 March, Puskin Cinema will host a free selection of films with Hungarian subtitles, bringing the energy, visual richness, and storytelling traditions of Indian cinema closer to local audiences. This year's programme features seven contemporary and award-winning films, offering a diverse panorama ranging from historical epics and social dramas to inspiring true stories.

YANN TIERSEN (FR) LIVE AT BARBA NEGRA

Yann Tiersen returns to Budapest with a solo performance built around piano and electronics, taking the stage at Barba Negra on 28 February to present his new double album, Rathlin from a Distance | The Liquid Hour. The French composer and multi-instrumentalist - known for more than twenty releases - continues to explore themes of nature, unusual instrumentation and site-specific composition, bringing his distinctive soundworld to the Budapest audience.

ART AND ANTIQUE BUDAPEST 2026

Art and Antique Budapest is Hungary's largest classical and contemporary art fair, and for the eighth consecutive year it stands as one of the most significant events in the country's cultural calendar. Taking place between 26 February and 1 March at the Bálna, the fair will host 50 well-known and respected galleries, presenting a rich and carefully curated selection of artworks and design pieces ranging from accessible finds worth a few tens of thousands of forints to museum-worthy masterpieces valued in the hundreds of millions.
