TURKISH WEEKEND AT PINGRUMBA
From 10 to 12 July, Pingrumba is heading to Istanbul for its latest summer culinary getaway. ÓBUDA YOGA NIGHT 2026
On 11 July, Esernyős will once again host Óbuda Yoga Night, returning for its fifth edition. Across three venues, visitors can explore a variety of yoga styles led by experienced instructors, with sessions designed for both beginners and regular practitioners. From energetic techno yoga and refreshing yin yoga to calming yoga nidra, the programme offers something for every pace and preference. Participation is free - just remember to bring your own yoga mat.

NIGHT OF THE CHAIRLIFTS 2026
See Budapest and beyond from a different perspective at the 11th Night of the Chairlift on 11 July. Alongside chairlifts in the Mátra, Bükk and Zemplén mountains, Budapest's Zugliget Chairlift will also stay open until late, giving visitors the chance to glide above the city at sunset and after dark, when the lights of the capital create an unforgettable view.

DANUBE SLIDE 2026
The Danube Slide returns for its sixth edition, inviting participants to float down the Danube between Nagymaros and Verőce on inflatable ducks, unicorns, inner tubes and just about anything else that floats. The route includes a refreshment stop on a sandy island before finishing at Verőce Beach, where a communal pasta party awaits. The adventure begins at Nagymaros Beach, and while life jackets are mandatory, advance registration is also required.

PICI PIAC AT FÉNY STREET MARKET
On 12 July, the summer's only Pici Piac takes over Fény Street Market. More than 50 Hungarian designers and makers will showcase baby clothes, toys, accessories and home décor, while visitors will also have the chance to meet the creators behind the brands. Alongside the market, there will be a prize draw, a coupon booklet with exclusive on-site discounts and a selection of limited-edition gifts. Admission is free.

ORMA BAKERY TEST RUN
After building a loyal following in Pécs, Orma Bakery is opening its first Budapest location with a week-long soft opening from 7 July at Harminckettesek tere. Expect slow-fermented sourdough breads, sandwiches, pastries, kombucha, fermented drinks and batch brew coffee, all made using organic ingredients sourced from Hungarian small-scale producers, with a strong focus on seasonality and local flavours.
