VéNégy Festival 2026
From 1 to 4 July, the banks of the Danube in Nagymaros will once again come alive as the VéNégy Festival and Theatre Meeting returns for its 13th edition. This year's lineup features French collective Nouvelle Vague, Dutch electronic outfit Kraak & Smaak, and Hungarian favourites including Bagossy Brothers Company, Dánielfy, Parno Graszt, Analog Balaton, Elefánt and Bohemian Betyars. Beyond the concerts, the festival offers a rich programme of theatre performances, street theatre, craft workshops and outdoor activities, making it the perfect excuse to spend a few summer days surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Danube Bend.

Budapest SUP Festival 2026
On 4 July, the Budapest SUP Festival returns for its eleventh edition, bringing one of the capital's largest community watersports events back to the Danube. Participants will paddle from the Római-part to Kopaszi-gát, taking in some of Budapest's most iconic landmarks from a unique perspective along the way. Before setting off, attendees can join a free group lesson and safety briefing, making the event accessible even for first-time paddlers. Organisers expect close to 400 participants to take part in this year's edition.

Hello Piac
Hello Piac Design Fair returns to Budapest on 4 July, taking over Vigadó Square with a curated selection of handmade goods by Hungarian designers and artisans. Browse everything from jewellery, clothing and home décor to gourmet treats, natural cosmetics and eco-friendly products, then enjoy the lively riverside atmosphere. Kolorádó Festival
Kolorádó Festival returns between 15 and 19 July this year, with a fresh chapter, relocating to Káloz. Set in a larger, more diverse natural environment, the festival blends music, art and sustainability, with plans to revitalise the land and transform Zichy Castle into its new creative hub. Reimagining what a festival can be, Kolorádó aims to offer a more conscious, community-driven experience.

Pitbull Concert at MVM Dome
Budapest's in for a summer party on 21 July, as global hip-hop star Pitbull brings his I'm Back! European tour to the city for his first ever Hungarian show. Known worldwide as “Mr Worldwide” for his string of hits like Give Me Everything and Timber , the Grammy-winning performer promises an explosive, high-energy stadium show with visual effects and his trademark party atmosphere, and special guest Lil Jon is set to warm up the stage.

Dürer Kert welcomes Monolit Festival between 23 and 24 July dedicated to stoner rock, doom, psychedelic rock and metal. Featuring both international and Hungarian bands, it's a must for fans of heavier music.
