As we wrote back in March, Little Geisha Can Cook has expanded beyond its original Baross utca location and opened a second spot on Corvin Promenade, bringing even more Asian flavours to the city. Little Geisha Can Cook II. offers a spacious new setting where guests can explore everything from sushi and soups to Korean specialities, all within a menu that comfortably blends Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Thai cuisine. Signature dishes such as bibimbap, tom yum, sushi boats, red wine beef pho, rabokki, and pad thai all appear on the menu, prepared with fresh ingredients and the restaurant's signature balance of authenticity and playful presentation. At Shibuya Budapeston Városligeti fasor, Japanese gastronomy meets South Asian influences in a menu complemented by an extensive grill selection. The fire-grilled skewers, meats, and vegetables that debuted at the restaurant last year are once again taking centre stage this summer, available all day every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from June onwards. Sushi lovers can also explore a range of signature creations, including the unagi royal salmon with eel, foie gras, and teriyaki, the charcoal-grilled octopus salad, the beef oyster mushroom dish with grilled tenderloin, or the crispy tempura-style Shibuya's roll filled with salmon, tuna, avocado, and chilli mayo. Alongside the food, Shibuya's cocktail selection is equally worth discovering, making the terrace an especially appealing spot for long summer evenings.

Preferita Budapest

Just a few steps from the bustle of Andrássy Avenue and the Opera House, Preferita Budapest brings a slice of Italy to Paulay Ede utca with a terrace that feels both central and surprisingly peaceful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming from the very first visit, while the menu focuses on high-quality ingredients and a simple but well-executed Italian concept. Flour, cheeses, cured meats, and tomato sauces all arrive directly from Italy, while everything from pizzas and homemade pasta to desserts is prepared fresh on site. Their tiramisu, for example, follows a long-kept family recipe. For the spring and summer season, the terrace also offers homemade raspberry-mint and lavender lemonades, ice-cold cocktails, and upcoming Sicilian-inspired seasonal dishes. Adding a personal touch to the experience, this year's terrace was built by the owners themselves, Adi and Tina.
