Bar owner Bryan Wilson is an LA expat, so he knows well what it is like to spend holidays away from home. Thus, he made sure to bring those together who celebrate Thanksgiving in Budapest, and is cooking up a traditional meal at Gaby's. The feast will consist of roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, green vegetables, sides and of course lots of cranberries, and for dessert he will be serving homemade pies and cakes. Tasting Table Budapest
The Tasting Table is a wine bar/shop/event space/and wine education center in a historic Palace Quarter cellar, a few blocks away from the Hungarian National Museum. This means that by joining their annual Thanksgiving dinner, you will join a wine tasting too. They will bring a hearty dose of Americana to the Table by making the classics - but the original recipes will get plenty of Hungarian touches. The lovely guys behind Bortodoor are partnering up with Bob's Kitchen to bring you a mouthwatering, 3-course Thanksgiving dinner. You will have pumpkin soup for starter, Turkey pot pie (with green beans and mashed potatoes) for main, and mince pie and pumpkin pie tartlets for dessert. After the feast, you are invited to stay and enjoy the post-turkey haze with a glass of wine and Denae and Yago's sultry, jazzy tunes. Dinner will start at 5pm, followed by the concert at 8pm.
