All of Budapest’s many Dang Muoi locations provide spicy delicacies of Vietnam that certainly warm up taste buds no matter what the temperature is outside, but at the restaurant chain’s all-you-can-eat buffet that opened last year in the Óbuda district, the interior design also presents the sultry spirit of this steamy Southeast Asian nation. Vibrant flowers, sunshiny photos, and the self-service area covered with a pagoda-style roof all welcome diners to enjoy a virtual Vietnamese vacation that lasts through lunchtime.

Iguana
This long-standing Mexican restaurant is located just a short stroll away from Budapest’s Parliament building, but guests here may feel as though they are lounging in a Puerto Vallarta cantina (especially after sipping on a few strong margaritas). In addition to the endless-fiesta feeling imparted by Iguana’s bright interior – festooned with Mexican movie posters and sparkling sombreros – authentic meals of Mexico like sizzling fajitas and terrific tacos certainly solidify the restaurant’s South of the Border sensations.
