Marking the eagerly awaited premiere of Loki's second season, Marvel UK's official Instagram page launched an exciting competition. They called upon graphic artists and illustrators from Central and Eastern Europe to craft a unique poster for the series, showcasing Loki in their preferred style. Aliz Buzás, the talent behind an awesome Art Deco piece, earned a spotlight, with the page recently sharing her work.

Meet Aliz Buzás, a Hungarian graphic artist currently based in Vienna, whose works we adore. We have even presented her detailed depictions of Budapest's districts in a previous article. Now, Aliz's name has surfaced in connection with the Marvel production Loki, which you are surely familiar with. Its highly-anticipated second season premiered on Disney+ in October, and on that occasion, the Marvel UK's official Instagram page launched a competition for graphic artists and illustrators from Central and Eastern Europe. They had to craft a unique poster for the series, portraying Loki in their distinctive styles.

Aliz Buzás created an Art Deco-style piece, which popped up on Marvel UK's Instagram 2 days ago. The capture reads: 'Time is slipping away in @alizbuzas' poster for #Loki Season 2, part of our EMEA artist series.'

The Art Deco style is striking and memorable, so such a poster easily grabs attention, and this style also conveys luxury and elegance, which can create a positive impression on viewers. Loki is fundamentally a rather stylish character, so I think it fits well with the Art Deco style of representation. - said Aliz.
