After the successful recent introduction of services between Nagymaros and Zebegény, Mahart has just announced the launch of two more routes along the Danube Bend north of Budapest. From Fridays through Sundays from Szentendre to Visegrád via Leányfalu and Tahitótfalu, and between Esztergom and Zebegény, passengers can enjoy unparalleled views of the spectacular Danube Bend – and all for a day ticket of 500 forints, allowing you hop on and hop off.
From Szentendre – accessible by HÉV train from Batthyány tér in Budapest – boats leave at 11.45am and arrive two hours later in Visegrád. They come back at 3.30pm. From Esztergom, boats leave at 10am and 4pm, and take 50 minutes to reach Zebegény.
