Due to heavy rainfall on the roads and rails throughout the month of June, motorists and train operators have found the stretch between Nagymaros and Zebegény to be impassible. As a solution, replacement services are being offered by boat, a decision popular for locals and tourists alike. Here are the routes and ticket prices.

Cruising up and down the Danube Bend is a real treat, and now the service from Visegrad to Zebegény and Dömös and back again is even easier. Starting today, 3 July, the MAHART circuit stops at Nagymaros, Visegrád, Dömös and Zebegény, ticket prices 500 forints, hop-on hop-off allowing for unlimited travel. Bicycles may be brought on board for 200 forints, and children under two ride for free. Tickets may be purchased on board by cash or card.
