Later than usual due to the pandemic, the renowned gastronomic experts at Michelin have just announced their European winners for 2020. The six Budapest restaurants granted this prestigious award in 2019 all keep their status, with Onyx holding on to its unique two-star ranking. Petrus retains its Bib Gourmand rating.
The six Budapest restaurants granted Michelin stars in 2019 all retain them for 2020: Onyx (two stars), Babel Budapest, Costes, Costes Downtown, Stand and Borkonyha.
Fifteen restaurants also received the relatively recently introduced distinction of the Michelin dish, awarded for good food. These included Alabárdos, Fausto’s, Mák and Olimpia.
