After working in Venice, London and New York, Italian chef Fausto Di Vora came to Budapest to open two top-notch places alongside each other on Dohány utca in District VII. The first was Fausto’s Ristorante, which offers classic Italian cuisine with contemporary touches, best sampled as part of the four- to seven-course tasting menu. Wine will be suitably selected along the way. In bare-brick surroundings offset by original art, this is a formal dining experience for discerning diners, underscored by a smart-casual dress code. Closed on Sundays.
