Following on from his recent announcement that from 27 April, passengers using the Budapest City Transport (BKK) network must wear a face mask or a covering scarf or bandana, now city mayor Gergely Karácsony has extended the ruling for shops, markets, malls and taxis. The new regulation also comes into effect from next Monday.
In an address on his Facebook page , Budapest mayor Gergely Karácsony announced the new restrictions for shoppers and taxi passengers, following on from Friday’s ruling concerning public transport. It’s not yet clear how long the new regulations need to stay in place.
