Yesterday evening, a dashing drone video appeared on Will Smith’s Facebook page, showing him scaling one of Budapest’s most iconic sights. The one-minute footage follows his audacious adventure that took the actor from his hotel room all the way to the top of Chain Bridge, where he started dancing, not something for the faint-hearted.
As he shared the recording with his millions of followers, Smith wrote “Last day in Budapest. I woke up #InMyFeelings”, referring to this summer’s hottest online contest announced by Drake and an Instagram star who goes by the name of “The Shiggy Show”. He also added “I was TERRIFIED up there. That’s why my dance moves is all STIFF! Haha”.
Though this incredible idea was not as spontaneous as it first seems, it’s amusing all the same. With his arduous act, Smith could very well become the biggest star in the Canadian rapper’s challenge.
This fast-spreading undertaking has already attracted numerous celebrities around the world, garnering videos from the likes of singer Ciara, American football wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr and comedian Kevin Hart.
Smith has spent several weeks in Budapest shooting his latest fantasy film, Gemini Man, in the city. During his stay here, he also recorded scenes for the Official World Cup song he filmed alongside Nicky Jam and Era Istrefi. Earlier, an image on Smith’s social media account presented him posing atop the Opera House, while in June he uploaded a slow-motion video on his Instagram account showing him enjoying Father’s Day fun with his family in front of Chain Bridge.
