6pm - 12:30am: V. Nordic Metal Night at Dürer Kert
The Nordic Metal Night brings the international legends of the genre to Budapest on Friday. A Polish viking metal horde, a pagan-influenced Australian folk melodeath ensemble and a newcomer German medieval metal group all feature.
7pm - : Billy Elliot The Musical at the Erkel Theatre 11-year-old Billy Elliot lives in a hardscrabble English mining town in the mid-1980s with his father and older brother. Billy soon discovers that he is a ballet-loving boy, and he’s not at all bad at it at all. But will he succeed in making his dreams come true? This musical adaptation is a collaboration between Elton John and the winning team behind the original 2000 feature film. The dialogue of this show is in Hungarian, but English surtitles are presented above the stage. Tickets are half-priced on Friday and Saturday.
8:30pm - : Szimpla Open Stage at Szimpla Kert
Head to the most popular ruin pub in Budapest, the grandfather of them all, and show off your musical talent on the stage. Grab a guitar and sing that song to that special someone – or to your mates.
9pm - : Aliens at the Bem Cinema
The original theatrical cut of James Cameron’s iconic Aliens screens at Bem cinema on Friday in English with Hungarian subtitles.
9:30pm - : Egyptian Lover at PONTOON
Budapest's waterside wonderland, PONTOON, is always a great choice for a drink. On Friday, Egyptian Lover plays here, who has been around for over 35 years now. And even though his music is often described as “old school”, “hip-hop” or “rap”, he simply calls it dance music

6pm - 11pm: Massive Attack at the Papp László Sportaréna
One of the most significant bands of the '90s and 00's trip-hop scene, Massive Attack perform in Hungary on Saturday, presenting their latest album.
6pm - : Night of Museums at various venues
On June 23rd you can find out whether museums really do come alive after the sun goes down. The Night of Museums is an annual event when many exhibition venues in Budapest stay open until late at night, awaiting families with plenty of exciting events that can be visited with one all-inclusive wristband.
7:30am - 1pm: III. SUP Budapest at Római Shore

The fresh talent of British jazz, trombone player, songwriter and producer Rory Ingham, will perform at A38 with his band, Jam Experiment on Saturday. You can expect an amazing jazzfunk experience, and if you’re a fan of Bob James or David Sanborn, you’ll find a new favourite.
8am - 5pm: Red Bull Air Race at the riverside
The Red Bull Air Race fills Budapest’s skies with extreme aerobatic stunts performed by some of the world’s most daring pilots right above the river. In addition to flying between floating checkpoints, the planes pass beneath the Chain Bridge, amazing the crowd of spectators lining the length of the riverside. A combination of high speed and extreme manoeuvres make this race an unparalleled visual spectacle that everyone can enjoy on Saturday and Sunday on the riverbank in the city centre. 10am – 6pm: Children’s Island at Óbuda Island
This is the last day of Children's Island this year, but on Saturday and Sunday, little ones can still enjoy concerts, slackline, arts and crafts activities, puppet shows, playhouses, a petting zoo, a climbing wall, trampolines and endless kinds of fun-filled games at this immense playground. Entry is free for all.
10am - noon: Yoga Brunch at 360Bar

8pm - : Superorganism at A38
If you blend elements of video games and pop culture, and add musicians from different continents, you get a truly amazing mix: experimental pop group Superorganism and their unique musical and visual universe. The band, with members from Japan, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, is currently based in London. Experience their one-of-a-kind musical collective for the first time in Budapest on Sunday.
