The six new heatable igloos of the 360 Bar are decorated with designer furniture. As each one is transparent, people tucked inside can enjoy a breathtakingly beautiful panorama across Budapest even during the colder months.
All the furnishings in these cozy hideaways entice you to linger for a few hours; rugs, blankets, furry pillows, atmospheric lights, a small fireplace-like heater, music and, last but not least, those magnificent views. And since vision can get a little blurry depending on your level of alcohol intake, each igloo has a window that can be opened.
Some of the igloos are like palm houses, decorated with rattan furniture and plants, others are adorned with antique-looking Edison bulbs, while others exude the ambience of a ski chalet, enhanced with chunks of wood as if for a log fire. The igloos also fill with DJ sounds coming out of the speakers.
The team at the 360 got the idea from a bar they found on the banks of the Thames and decided to bring it to Budapest. Here, they have already proved to be immensely popular. While table reservations aren’t possible yet, as we head towards Christmas, booking will be essential, although a few places will be made available for anyone turning up on spec. The 360 Bar will also be offering winter cocktails and a seasonal menu.
