8am - 8am: Sziget Festival 2016 at Óbuda Island The annual good-time gathering aka Sziget Festival takes place between August 10-17 this year at its usual location, the Óbuda Island. Celebrate summertime together with thousands of party people during this weeklong musical extravaganza amid international superstars and acclaimed local performers of all genres. On Friday, for example, you can catch performances like Manu Chao La Ventura, Editors, Bastille, Boys Noize or Boddika. From then on, Amélie dedicates herself to helping others find happiness in the most delightfully unexpected ways. But will she have the courage to do for herself what she has done for others? This feel-good film, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, is a lively, fanciful charmer, showcasing Audrey Tautou as its delightful heroine. Original audio, Hungarian subtitles, and free popcorn – what else can you ask for?
8pm - : Terraformer, HEGY at Gozsdu Manó Klub Hailing from Liége, Belgium, the three-piece band Terraformer plays music that will surely appeal to fans of post-rock/metal and instrumental progressive rock. Complex structures, loud-quiet-loud dynamics, explosive guitar noises, a special ethereal mood – if you love bands like Mogwai or Slint, you'll surely adore them.
11pm - 6am: Astronautmusic Presents Basti Grub at Corvin ClubUncompromising, unique, and completely unimpressed by fads and fashion: the fresh and multifaceted sound of Basti Grub's productions and sets resonates innovation based on curiosity and an open-minded approach to music, life, and beyond! Whether it's lengthy, introverted, and relaxed piano passages, or the novelty sound of the hang instrument, animal samples from the countryside, exotic drums, interesting use of voices, and song structures, or just plain fat tech-house sound, Grub, who was born in Frankfurt, makes it unpredictable what's next, and never limits himself by thinking in conventional terms.Saturday

at Corvin Club Sootheyour body and soul above the city with the second edition of Corvin Club's yoga session. Start your day with some workout in the sunshine, and believe us, you'll feel its benefits during the whole weekend.
10.30am - noon: JazzaJ Presents Daichi Yoshikawa & Samo Kutin Duo at Lumen Cyclist and artist Daichi Yoshikawa is interested in the spaces we can construct together through the intensities of live performances. His work is the push and pull of extremes: pitch, volume and gesture. The ingredients are familiar, but the listening is not. Samo Kutin is an instrumentalist and a teacher, known for his use of unconventional and homemade instruments. Besides performing in diverse improvisational groups he also explores the unusual sound potential of the medieval Hungarian instrument called hurdy-gurdy that he won't leave at home on a Saturday.
11am - 5pm: August Bike Fair at Dürer Kert The monthly bike fair will be relaunched to feature various fun activities. Get a used bike, bike parts or accessories, or if you have anything to sell, register at durerbringaborze@gmail.com. Since this will be one of the biggest bike fairs of the month, you shouldn’t miss this event.
noon - 2am: EZER II.
at Római Part The most sporty all-day-long event of the summer will take over Római Part again. Frisbee, petanque, table tennis and many other sports activities await everyone at the waterfront. But if you prefer spinning on the dance floor instead of conquering the tennis court, don't worry, the organizers got you covered as the resident DJs of the hottest and hippest local party series also do some vinyl-lifting on Saturday. Moreover, you can follow the Olympic games on a big screen that's set up there, so no excuses!
6pm - 11pm: Blues Pills, River Of Lust, Hot Beaver at Barba Negra Track The psychedelic sounds of Blues Pills may hail back to the prosperity of the 1960s and 1970s, while their distinctive sound may include a few ingredients of the past; a pinch of late 60s Americana, a sprinkling of blues, a heavy serving of rock ‘n’ roll, a big squeeze of soul but it’s all shaken up into a brand-new cocktail of tunes, and served into this heavenly new blend we call Blues Pills. They have whipped up a serious amount of hype since their start – and now it's your time to find out why. Rock on!Sunday

Contra Mundum Afterhours – Terrace Edition at Corvin Club Budapest never sleeps – not even after a whole night spent partying. That’s why Afterhours came to life: to help you get your extra dose of electronic music on the last day of the week, beginning at 6am. This time, the DJs (Vatsanah, Zvezda Beta and Martin 'M) will be chilling and banging with like-minded revelers under the sun – on Corvin’s rooftop terrace. 9am - 2pm: Kristóf Steiner's community kitchen and market at Pancs Every Sunday from 9am to 2pm a ruin pub turns into a community market.
Local producers, whose priority is to maintain harmony with nature, present their goods at the courtyard of Élesztő. They offer goods such as seasonal fruits and veggies,cheeses, ham, salami, pastries, syrups, jams, juices and wine.
3pm - 6pm:
FessNeki at Akvárium KlubPaint like your favorite painter and unleash your creative genius! The FessNeki team is putting on a special summer event.
FessNeki is about having fun and freely creating art as a member of a community. To participate, you need no previous training. Come and experience this great event and become an accomplished painter!
