Over the course of five years, Hungarian photographer Márk Mervai continually seized the moment to capture amazing photos of Budapest under extraordinary climatic conditions, when the capital is vibrantly bathed in the light of dawn and dusk. After completing an incredible series of photos portraying variegated city landmarks, Mark submitted his images to the popular website BoredPanda, which shared them in late January – and since then, these incredible visions have garnered over 85,000 views and over 30,000 likes, diffusing Budapest’s most colorful beauty across the Internet.

Popular Magyar photographer Mark Mervai took these photos over the past five years, searching for – and finding – the perfect moments and the ideal light conditions in Budapest.

According to the text accompanying Mark’s photo compilation on BoredPanda, his favorite time for shooting is when the sun first emerges over the horizon, shining with spectacular beams for a couple of colorful minutes. He goes on to describe the last lights of the day as a special “thank you” from nature for a beautiful day. The spectacular spectacle of nature’s light show is always a great gift, which is why Mark would like to share these amazing moments with friends and others – and indeed he’s succeeded in doing this, as his photo essay continues to shine across the Internet after being seen by over 85,000 viewers.
