In addition to drawing on the entire musical tradition of West Africa, he also incorporates Afro-Latin, Caribbean, North American, and Nigerian elements into his music. The characteristic breadth and color of Cheikh Lô’s music is also in harmony with the artist’s spiritual worldview. He follows Baye Fall, a movement within the Mouride Sufi order of Islam. One of the order’s central teachings is to “pray as if you will die tomorrow and work as if you will live forever.” 8pm - : Powerwolf, Orden Ogan, Civil War, Tales Of Evening at Barba Negra Music Club The dark history of the German Powerwolf began in 2003 with skulls, goth motifs, vampire tales, and werewolves.
