Our weekly guide to the upcoming weekend includes where to go, what to do, and who must not be missed on 12 - 14 December. The exhibition concentrates on those major works and emblematic art pieces which have not been exhibited in recent years or, indeed, have never before been shown.Tommaso Tanini exhibition

Friday, SaturdayKunsthalle
This exhibition is linked with the central theme of Photo Month 2014 and questions of historical memory. Tommaso Tanini explores the typical ways the one-time secret service of East Germany (the Stasi) manipulated emotions. The disquieting, haunting question in Tanini’s photo-works is how one can possibly turn against their loved ones instead of rebelling against an oppressing and terrorising regime - and how one overcomes their fears. Sunday, 7pmKolor Lovely and diffuse, Sleep isn't as immediately absorbing as Gondry's previous work, but its messy beauty is its own reward. An amazing work from Michel Gondry.
