Almost 50 applicants contested in this year’s Iránytű, organized by Turizmus Trend. The jury was made up of Ildikó Dudás, the marketing manager of Kempinski Hotel Corvinus, Balázs Román, the editor-in-chief of Kreatív online, GáborGarai graphic designer and , Zoltán Szántó, the editor-in-chief of Turizmus Trend.
After counting the jury’s ballots, the following got to win the various categories:WebThe website or community media campaign category had a winner with an outstanding score: Drycom Kft.’s WeLoveBudapest.com. Following came in a shared second place the Facebook campaign Lotus Bölcsöde (=Lotus Nursery School) by Hotel Garden Kft. and the website of Bohem Art Hotel. Third place is again shared between the Facebook campaign of Szent Erzsébet Mórahalmi Gyógyfürdő Kft. and the site www.visitgyula.com by Gyulai Turisztikai Nonprofit Kft.Event marketing and POSThe jury deemed Rush Reklám the best in this category for their colorful and varied lobby decoration at Sofitel Hotel Budapest. Also with a high score, close to the first came ATRECTO Zrt. Fishing exhibition and their smartphone application created for the event.
Third came Eurocom Kommunikációs Kft.’s work related to the meat jelly festival in Miskolc.PrintIn the category of printed materials the “Balaton élmények ízben és vízben/Bor és wellness 2012” (=Balaton memories in tastes and water/Wine and wellness 2012) brochure, which was published by the Balaton branch of Magyar Turizmus Zrt. The shared second place went to the “Télen is a föld körül” (=Around the world in winter, too) brochure by Tensi Kft. and Vista’s brochure Gasztroutak (=Gastrotrips). Finally, the shared third place was decided to be deserved by the brochures Hajdúszoboszlói Turisztikai Non-profit Kft.’s “Hajdúszoboszló: Érezd jól magad!” (=Hajdúszoboszló: Enjoy yourself.), “Felüdülés – Élménykínálat” (=Recreation – A selection of experiences), the 2012 travel catalogue by Chemol Travel and the MiskolcOn touristic magazine of Miskolc.Advertising/campaign
The jury chose to give a shared first place once again to Tensi Kft.’s campaign titled “A világ második legjobb állása/Balázs utazik” (=The second best job in the world/Balázs is traveling) and Willy Fog Bt.’s material made for the Busójárás. Second came the “Cyprus in your heart” campaign by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation.Public votes
