If you are up for a stroll this weekend, try the Castle District's prettiest route, the Tóth Árpád sétány. The cherry trees along the promenade are now in full bloom, providing Insta-worthy views.

You can never go wrong with Buda Castle if you feel like wandering around (with excellent restaurants and cafés at hand), but spring adds flowers to history, upping the game. And currently, Tóth Árpád sétány, a promenade designed in the early 1700s, tops our list of the prettiest walks in the area. It boasts a double row of trees, which have turned pink now that it is cherry blossom season. This is the kind of scene that is pleading to have its photo taken, and We Love Budapest photographers take pleadings seriously. So here is a selection of our favourite photos of this year's blooms, which you can still cath at the weekend. If you plan to visit, try to go as early as possible to beat the crowd.

Tóth Árpád sétány can easily be accessed via the 'Bécsi kapu' entrance.
