Hidden in the green area on Gellért Hill above Elizabeth Bridge, the Philosophers’ Garden features a group of statues depicting famous thinkers and religious figures. Jesus Christ, Buddha and Gandhi meet here for a “Better Understanding of Each Other”, as can be read around the base. You can also witness the union of Prince Buda and Princess Pest, represented in bronze. The park is ideal for reading a good book, meeting with a loved one or opening a bottle of wine while enjoying the view.
