In 2008 Coyote Coffee & Deli started out from a trip to the US, and the basic thesis that says “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” It was the vanguard of eateries specializing in breakfast, and they served bagels, cheese- and carrot cakes well before the gastro-revolution arrived in the city. Their profile remained unchanged; near Batthyány Square, in a cozy street of Víziváros, their doors open early in the morning so they can let the scent of freshly-baked pastry out, while the hungry urban dwellers, looking for croissant sandwiches, pretzels, puff pastries, or salads, can come in. Of course everything is made freshly from quality ingredients. They try to bring in the best coffees, too, and they try to suit the needs of the guests as much as possible. At the end of the day they transform into a wine-drinking place that’s perfect for chats; that’s when the craft-beers and quality wines get in the spotlight.
