Champagne and caviar at Czakó Market

The Czakó Market in Buda is offering caviar tasting, champagne and scrumptious shrimp at their Saturday open-air market!  Start the new year with local produce as you sip your champagne, and look for homemade chocolates, syrups, jams, muesli and cheeses, as well as festive masks, canvas bags and other handmade goodies. Fresh eggs or chickens can be requested in advance, just make sure to indicate that you’ll be attending!

Dog Hiking

Love your dog, and want to meet some other dog-owners in town? Dog Hájking is the group for you, then! This group of adventurous pup-owners invite you and your furry companion to attend their third “Dog Networking Trip” on Friday, 1 January to start the new year with some fresh air and lots of wagging tails. The group will meet at 7.45am at Mesevölgy Óvoda in Pilisborosjenő. From there, it’s a 10km hike to a replica of Eger Castle and surrounding areas, before the trail loops back to the starting point.
