After earning cult status for its flaky croissants and coffee, Freyja now leans into tradition with fresh–baked sourdough loaves, baguettes, and classic Hungarian bread alongside the pastries locals know and love.

2. Csupor
Csupor - Specialty Coffee has quietly made its mark in the heart of the city, opening a serene new café on Galamb utca. If your idea of a perfect morning is sunshine, a carefully pulled coffee and an unhurried hour with a book or notebook, Csupor delivers exactly that. Opened by a couple whose dream was to create a space that feels like home, the interior here is minimalist yet inviting, with plenty of natural light and calm energy.

3. Hachi-Ko
HACHI Budapest's latest concept, Hachi-Ko, is a fresh and creative evolution in the city's ramen scene. Soft–opened near Madách tér this January, Hachi-Ko is the younger, freer sibling to the original Hachi - and it shows in both vibe and menu.
