Within a giant tent set up on the grounds of City Park’s historic Ice Rink (“Műjégpálya” in Hungarian), experience the raucous spirit of celebrating an old-fashioned Oktoberfest in one of Munich’s gigantic beer halls, complete with huge steins and lovely barmaids wearing low-cut costumes. Held for four days during October 9-12, this second-annual fall extravaganza welcomes more than 55 breweries offering some 300 types of spectacular suds, along with over 100 food vendors and a complete program of concerts by living-legend Magyar musicians.
