Here are a few places and events to make your summer in Budapest even more memorable.
Baalbek Lebanese Restaurant

Set just steps from the banks of the Danube, Baalbek Lebanese Restaurant combines waterfront ambience with authentic Middle Eastern flavours in the heart of Budapest. Alongside its spacious terrace, guests can also enjoy shisha with a selection of fruity and premium tobacco flavours. Since opening, the restaurant has worked with Lebanese chefs and built a reputation for its authentic hot and cold mezze, grilled meats and freshly baked pitas. On hot summer days, favourites include stuffed vine leaves with vegetables and rice, grilled aubergine served with fresh vegetables, and Beirut-style hummus with lemon and parsley, best paired with homemade lemonade, refreshing mint tea or a cocktail. Whether you're planning a leisurely lunch, dinner with friends or sunset drinks, Baalbek offers the perfect blend of riverside atmosphere, Mediterranean charm and memorable dining.

MemoRise Skybar

Located on the rooftop of Hotel Memories OldTown near Kálvin tér, MemoRise Skybar offers one of Budapest's most impressive rooftop views. Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5 pm, it looks out over the Citadella and the city's rooftops, making it an ideal spot for summer evenings. Alongside a creative cocktail menu, you'll find refreshing spritzes, with the Pornstar Spritz and Basil Gin Spritz among the most popular choices. The food menu is built around a Japanese Hibachi charcoal grill and is designed for sharing, whether you're stopping by for drinks or staying for dinner. Their homemade venison burger, made from a secret recipe, has been a favourite for years. Whether it's a date night, after-work drinks or a special celebration, this rooftop is well worth adding to your summer plans.

360 Bar

Set on Andrássy Avenue, 360 Bar pairs panoramic city views with a lively summer programme. Every other Wednesday from 8 pm, the Jazz on the Roof series brings together internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Krisztián Oláh and guest musicians, while DJ sets take over the rooftop every evening, sometimes accompanied by live instruments. On Fridays, Vinyl Fridays sees a line-up of Hungarian DJs spinning records. The full programme will be available soon. The summer menu features favourites such as Gambas Pil Pil and the steak sandwich, alongside burgers, sandwiches and a wide selection of cocktails, wines and homemade lemonades. If you're after a signature drink, try the 360 Highlife, made with Beefeater gin, Aperol, raspberry and rhubarb tonic, basil and strawberry. Thanks to its shaded terrace, 360 Bar is just as enjoyable in the afternoon as it is at sunset. Before heading over, it's worth checking their social media, as opening hours may change depending on the weather. Reservations are recommended.
