Few artists have been such incredible pioneers in the realms of jazz and soul funk as the vibraphonist, vocalist and keyboardist Roy Ayers. His work has influenced and even helped to create a range of genres, including jazz funk, soul jazz, Afrobeat, acid jazz, hip hop jazz, neo soul and jazz house. After a legendary career that spans back to the 1960s, this timeless apostle of feel-good music will now perform his first concert in Hungary, taking place at Müpa Budapest on 22 May.
