Kamasi Washington is one of the biggest stars in jazz, and his first ever Hungarian concert on 26 June promises to be something very special indeed. Not only is this tenor saxophonist the crown prince of 21st-century jazz, over the last ten years or so he has personally been responsible for turning many previously indifferent listeners on to the genre. Washington will come to Müpa Budapest with his 2018 masterpiece, Heaven and Earth.
