Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Die Antwoord has proven time and again that wherever they go, pure mayhem follows — expect wild parties, outrageous energy and a no-holds-barred show. The duo, Ninja and ¥o-Landi, have delivered cult hits like I Fink U Freeky, Baby’s On Fire, Ugly Boy, and their latest track Pokémon.
Their work has amassed a global following of millions across 183 countries, with billions of views on their mind-bending music videos. Die Antwoord are flag bearers of the zef counterculture — so much, that they named their own label Zef Recordz, and last year released a documentary titled ZEF – The Story of Die Antwoord.
After a five-year break, the band hit the road again in 2024 — and their comeback proved such a hit, that they ended up completing three global tours last year, with Budapest among the stops. Now, for the first time since 2018, they’re set to take over Budapest Park once more with their pounding beats on 18 June.
