The Pizza Europa League recently took place in Bavaria at the Hoga Fair in Nuremberg, Germany. It might be a fairly new competition, but it took the assignment seriously: master pizza chefs and a jury of former champions and other experts came together to crown the best pizza.
The proud winner was none other than a Budapest pizzeria: Forni di Napoli, led by pizza chef László Damu. The happy news was shared on their socials. Congratulations to the team!
If you're eager to sample the award-winning pizzas, pop into their restaurants on the Grand Boulevard (Szent István körút 7-9.) or near the Basilica (Október 6. utca 19.).
