No longer free of charge, from now you will have to pay again to enter the upper panoramic deck of the Fisherman's Bastion. For convenience, a multilingual ticket machine has been installed.

From March to (23) December, you will need to dig into your pocket on your way up to the upper floor of the Fisherman's Bastion. Although, not super deep and the view will be worth it. A full-price adult ticket costs HUF 1,200, while pensioners and students can enter at half price, HUF 600. National holidays are an exception, so next, you can admire the panorama from the Fisherman's Bastion for free on 20 August and 23 October. Children under 6 years old, teachers accompanying school groups, residents of the district, or people with reduced mobility can enter free of charge every day.

ticket machine has been installed near the Fisherman's Bastion for convenient and quick ticket purchases. It also provides information in several languages: English, German, and Spanish, in addition to Hungarian. You can also purchase tickets online in advance.

Also, the former ticket office will remain open between 9 am and 5 pm. The opening hours of the Fisherman's Bastion are slightly longer: from 9 am to 7 pm, and even longer in the summer: from 1 June to 30 September, you can visit the sight from 9 am to 9 pm. The lower deck of the Fisherman's Bastion is not affected by the change and remains free of charge.
