Our photographer Zsuzsi Forgács strolled around the ELTE Botanical Gardens to capture the first eye-catching signs of spring. Cherry blossom, daffodils, magnolias and tulips all star in her gorgeous photo gallery.

A gem in the lesser-explored area of District VIII, the botanical gardens of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) date back to the 1700s. Still a picturesque attraction, they feature bright orchids, huge water lilies and, in spring, pink cherry blossom. Our ace photographer, Zsuzsi Forgács, paid a visit to the arboretum to capture the scene.
