In the third of a series outlining the history of nightlife in Budapest, graphic artist Ákos Vizi and crew have turned their attention to the first decade of the new millennium. See where the city partied, and which bands and DJs came to town during the noughties.

As recently featured, graphic artist Ákos Vizi and his team of experts have been creating a unique archive outlining Budapest’s prime nightspots and music venues across different decades.

Now, after producing detailed maps for the 1980s and 1990s, these dedicated retro hedonists have drawn up a map pinpointing where everyone let loose in the noughties.

As a bonus, Ákos and posse have also provided a selection of gig tickets and party passes to show who came to town, when and where. See which ones you went to!
